Admissions

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your student at Seton Catholic. Seton Catholic is a faith-based, college preparatory school dedicated to serving students in grades 6-12.

Applicants of all faiths are welcome and evaluated based on their desire to fully participate in Catholic education, as well as on their prior academic progress, standardized test scores, discipline, and attendance.

How the Admissions Process Works

  1. A complete online student application is received by the school. Applications are accepted year-round with the traditional application period running from January to March for the next school year. Current students begin the re-enrollment process in November so their seats will be held before new students are accepted.
  2. An initial round of new applicants will be due on January 31, 2025. The student application is reviewed within 2-3 weeks after receipt, and a letter of acceptance or denial is mailed to the applicant. After the initial deadline of January 31, 2025, applications will be reviewed on an on-going first-come, first-served basis.
  3. After a student has been accepted, an appointment is scheduled with the student and parents to select classes, discuss co-curricular interests, and review tuition payment options.
  4. Applications for tuition assistance should be submitted directly to FACTS Management by March 1, 2025. Applicants who meet this deadline will be notified of the status of their award by mid-April. The second round of applications will be reviewed on May 1, 2025. Parents must understand that assistance funds will be given to current families first and, after that round, the funds are limited or may be unavailable for later applicants. 

How to apply

We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents the ability to track the status of their child’s application. To begin the Online Application process, create an account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

A non-refundable fee of $50 must be submitted with each application.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. In addition, you will be able to print the completed application, monitor when the school receives any applicable supplemental forms and, if necessary, reprint the forms.

What's Required to Complete the application

  • The completed Student Application 
  • Copy of current year grade reports 
  • Official transcript from current school and transcript from any other schools attended within the past three years. Record Request Form 
  • Copy of most recent standardized test scores from, minimally, the past two years. 
  • If an IEP has been done, a copy of the most recent evaluation/diagnosis (if applicable)
