Head Coach, Boys Lacrosse

Coach Fritz is one of the most experienced and accomplished coaches in Division II lacrosse, ranking in the top ten for career wins and win percentage. Over a 26-year career, he amassed 214 wins, founded and rebuilt multiple college and high school programs, and played a key role in developing Division II lacrosse within the USILA and NCAA. He has won seven conference championships, produced numerous All-Americans, and mentored players who went on to professional and international success. A six-time conference coach of the year, Fritz has been inducted into the Pfeiffer University and Montclair State Hall of Fame and was instrumental in Queens’ transition from Division II to Division I. He has also contributed to the sport globally, working with the English Lacrosse Union and sending players to coach overseas. His impact extends beyond the field as he has served on various lacrosse boards, started national initiatives, run successful camps, and been a speaker at national conventions. Through his leadership, coaching, and advocacy, Fritz has significantly shaped the growth of lacrosse at the collegiate, professional, and international levels.
Assistant Coach, Boys Lacrosse

A veteran of 40 years in the game of lacrosse, Coach Cornett started his lacrosse journey playing for Severna Park, one of the best programs in MD where he captained the lacrosse and football team and helped lead both teams to the County Championship. After HS went on to play at JUCO power Ann Arundel before graduating from Towson State. Upon moving to SC played for Charleston Lacrosse Club where he was their leading scorer. He has been instrumental in growing he game in Horry County, starting the first high school program in the county as well as the North Myrtle Beach program. He also started the little league lacrosse league in North Myrtle Beach. He also helped coach the Shamrocks Lacrosse Club. A second-degree brown belt and coach of Brazilian Jujitsu, Joe Lives in North Myrtle Beach where he owns and operates LHT Cooling, Heating and Refrigeration Inc.
Head Coach, Girls Lacrosse

Coach Brian is originally from New Jersey where he learned and played the sport of lacrosse in Westfield. Following high school, he played football at The College of New Jersey as well as competing in Club Lacrosse. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree, he pursued his Law Degree at New England School of Law. Upon graduating from Law School, he has maintained a legal practice for over 20 years and also manages and insurance brokerage. Despite practicing law and developing his insurance business, Coach Brian continued his love of the game by coaching youth sports. He has been coaching youth lacrosse and football since college. In 2021, Coach Brian started a travel lacrosse club program named Myrtle Beach Lightning. The Club program has provided local middle and high school players with a platform to increase their skill and pursue college playing careers. To date, the program has developed some of the best lacrosse players in the State of South Carolina as well as many players currently competing at the collegiate level.
